How to make a beaded shank button
Because this shank button is made by the same beads that is used for a beaded bracelet, it matches the bracelet.
Materials:
seed beads (size 11/0), one bugle bead (or a simmilar stiff stick),
beading thread, needle
Use Tubular Ndebele Herringbone stitch.

String 6 seed beads and go through the first bead again.

String 2 beads (#7, 8) and go through #2 and #3.
String 2 beads (#9, 10) and go through #4 and #5.
String 2 beads (#11, 12) and go through #6, #1, and #7.

String 2 beads and go through the second and third beads (#8, 9) of the previous row.
String 2 beads and go through the fourth and fifth beads (#10, 11) of the previous row.
String 2 beads and go through the sixth and first beads (#12, 7) of the previous row. And go throuht the first bead of the current row.
Pull your thread tight to make a tube.
Continue this step untill you get enough rows.

Go through all beads of the last row several times.
Put a bugle bead in the woven tube..

Sew one bead on the top and the bottom of the tube to fill in each gap.
Attach the shank on the tube. It is attached by square stitch in this case.
Make various shank button by changing bead, size, color, and stitch.
